Dr. Kris Shewmake
Medical Director
Dr. Kris Shewmake
Since 1996, Kris Shewmake, MD, has helped patients look refreshed, natural, and like their best selves through individualized care at Shewmake Plastic Surgery. At Zen Regenerative Wellness, he brings the same precision and high-standard approach to a concierge, regenerative model, supporting patients before and after procedures and helping to optimize overall wellness, recovery, and long-term vitality. Shewmake's meticulous technique is rooted in extensive experience in craniofacial and facial surgery, including complex reconstructive work that has sharpened his attention to detail. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas Medical Center, where he served as class president and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed eight years of surgical training, including a General Surgery residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, followed by additional fellowship training at UCLA. After returning to Arkansas in 1992, Dr. Shewmake served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at UAMS and Arkansas Children's Hospital before opening Shewmake Plastic Surgery in 1996. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of leading professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Arkansas Medical Society. He is also one of only two plastic surgeons in Arkansas inducted into the prestigious Association of Plastic Surgeons. He has published and presented numerous scientific papers and stays current through ongoing national education and advanced training. Outside the operating room, Dr. Shewmake is married, a father of five, and active in his church. He co-founded Operation New Life and has led surgical mission teams to serve communities in Honduras, including teaching at the local medical school, a reflection of the same service-minded philosophy that guides his work in both surgery and regenerative wellness.
RaeAnn Wilson
CEO/Owner
RaeAnn Wilson
RaeAnn brings years of experience in surgical coordination and patient care, with a talent for making every step, from the first consultation to post-procedure follow-up, feel organized, reassuring, and genuinely personal. At Zen Regenerative Wellness, she channels that same high-touch approach into a broader mission: helping people recover faster, feel stronger, and thrive through proactive, regenerative care. A breast cancer survivor, RaeAnn knows firsthand how powerful IV therapy can be during recovery. That experience shaped her passion for delivering thoughtful, supportive care to others, especially patients navigating surgery, fatigue, stress, and the "I just don't feel like myself" season of life. She also loves the versatility of wellness and infusion therapy for goals such as healthier hair, skin, and nails, improved mental clarity and focus, and metabolic support, which has led her to help build Zen Regenerative Wellness into a trusted destination for personalized, results-driven wellness in Central Arkansas. RaeAnn is a native of Cabot, Arkansas, and the proud mom of two daughters, Haeden and Chloe. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as with her fiancé, Matthew. As she puts it, "I've always loved patient care, plastic surgery, and aesthetics. I have a deep compassion for people going through difficult situations, and I love making the process smoother by treating them like people, not patients."

Brad Heird, MHA, BSN, RN
Director of Clinical Operations
Brad Heird, MHA, BSN, RN
Known for his detail-driven mindset and big-picture thinking, Brad works closely with providers and staff to ensure care is not only clinically sound but comfortable, approachable, and tailored to each individual. His approach is shaped by a strong foundation in nutrition, nursing, and healthcare leadership, allowing him to evaluate emerging therapies with both clinical insight and real-world practicality, always with the patient's experience and long-term health in mind. He is known for his expertise in peptide therapy, taking the time to walk patients through their labs and build personalized protocols that feel intentional, safe, and approachable. Before joining Zen, Brad spent a decade at Baptist Health, where he developed deep experience in clinical operations, patient safety, and care delivery within a large healthcare system. That time reinforced the importance of structure and standards, while also highlighting how easily patients can feel overlooked in traditional settings, an insight that drives his commitment to concierge-style, highly personalized care at Zen. His leadership and impact have been recognized with the 2024 Nurse Leaders Under 40 Award and the 2025 Arkansas Great 100 Nurses honor. At the core of his work is a simple belief: modern wellness should feel personal, unhurried, and supportive. He always says "I want patients to feel comfortable, understood, and never rushed, able to ask questions, have real conversations, and know someone is truly paying attention to them and meeting their needs."
